Ways To Support HRC

Volunteer

Volunteering with HRC begins and ends with one person--you! When you volunteer with HRC, you help educate the public about critical issues, mobilize your community to take action, expand the voice and visibility of the LGBT community, help to change hearts and minds and bolster a nationwide effort to end hate and discrimination.

Corporate Sponsors

The support from corporate America to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community is directly tied to HRC's overall success. Please show your loyalty and support by directing your friends and family to our National Corporate Sponsors.

HRC Visa Platinum Card

With every purchase made using the HRC Visa Platinum card, the HRC receives a small contribution from the card issuer, Washington Mutual.  And HRC Visa cardholders are rewarded for using the card because the card comes with a Premium Points reward program.  The card offers an introductory rate on purchases and balance transfers, and there's no annual fee.

Host an HRC House Party

A house party is a fun and energizing way to educate people about HRC, bring in new members, raise much needed funds to support our work, and identify others in your community interested in getting even more involved!

Commitment Ceremonies

For the security of knowing that they are doing their part in the fight for equality, many same-sex and straight couples are foregoing the tradition of gift registries and matching china by asking their guests to give to HRC. This provides the couple with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to educate their guests about HRC's important work in fighting for equal rights for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.

Equality Checks and Address Labels

Show your support for HRC by using officially licensed checks and return address labels from Message!Products. The full-color checks have security features and are printed on recycled paper with soy-based inks. Choose from two signature lines: "Working for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Equal Rights" or "Working for Equality." Your purchase generates a royalty that goes directly to HRC.

Being Out Rocks

Celebrating National Coming Out Day and benefitting the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, Being Out Rocks is a one-of-a-kind album that features a cross-section of LGBT and straight artists committed to openness and honesty. Produced by Centaur Entertainment, a total of 21 artists donated songs to the album, including Sarah McLachlan, k.d. lang, the B-52's and Dar Williams. For a list of songs, visit the Being Out Rocks page. For more information and to purchase the album, visit the HRC Corner Store.
